Moonlight Bleach

Where the rocks are so old
they are bleached by moonlight
where the rocks are so old
this is no longer believed
where the rocks are so old
they are melted and shattered
fermented and battered
where the rocks are so old
they refrain from these sayings
and have heard every rhythm
the waters display
where the rocks are so old
they've forgotten to remember
the science and knowledge
where the rocks are so old
baby land is not home
where the rocks are so old
they have fogotten what's gold
they have listened to war
carriage and horse
drums and jackhammers
rusted metal
poisonous flows
where the rocks are so old.
