Summer's Hunter

Saturn has beautiful tricks
stretching out its limits
thirty years eight times it takes
and that is lightening quick.

Antares awaits its opposing limb
Antares debates with its warring twin
Antares now appears
getting the colder shoulder's analog
(both are well read.)

Mars high on its elbow grease
now moving as the transit pass

     Venus - Moon - Sun

Dancing the solar belt
in triplets these things seem
doubled at each junction
conjoining names

Allegorical entertainment
mimicry and mockery
facetious spare tires
the Summer Hunter
is slim and plump
the belly the eye of a Scorpion
the horn of a Carriage
the altar of a Bird
and there is the third
unmentioned...

The Eagle to accompany.
