And in that rain that storm upon us
in this violence this child's innocence
covered his eyes with his hands upon his face
and was caught away to where there was no ignorance
for that time was once and for sentience
the epiphenomenal conclusion and forbearance
the rememberance
the acting out of justice for an unjust sentence
for done was the mistake that never was
and then he pulled at his hands asking:
"Son are you crying?"
and he came to be terrified
for staring back at him
was a cloudy dry face
with eyes like a maned young lion
and in a silent growl for years to come was said:
"Harm my mother no more and leave my home."
