Sabbath at Dawn

Post Woodstock
padding the bat on the plate
a paper plate
headless legend
black leather
clad cloven hoof
interwoven web
sits in the cooling
like a widow

only one in higher realm
can know these words
but as they slip and slither
only those finding meaning see

more?

behold the ripe insanity
hidden for fear of acceptance bold
and jealous cause the pain comes:

in an instant flesh rocked
dusty room squeaking spring
rusted pipes begin to call
aware of all simultaneous
asexual potentate
throne saw saviour
only thought
galaxies merge
yeah- I 'loved' her
in savage breaths

entropy released
DNA
breakdown for more
more, more, death
in pain loosing
judgment in safe places
out of revenge
humanity traces
faces in sand hoping
for the Bad Monkey
to redeem all his chips
at the end of the day
and take off the heels
bone spurn
fears

The Light From The Bright Morning Star
bookends
Black
Dawns
no more tears
emancipate
and protect
our minds
the gates are shut
open
no one hides.
