In Dark Dusk

Frost
takes paths lesser traveling
a quote for a day
an image hand grenading
its that time
do you know where your children are?

Its cold out there
put on your gloves
cover your nose when you sneeze
oh--
know the inventor of the crook
or the armchair cover?
empty your spam box
watch your sodium intake
hate

pills, plastic, yellow teeth
breasts bounty
train in scales
walk the rails
don't miss
a beat less
the slaves laid down

listen hearing the rejection of offerings
that tears spent hagglings
hours on end in court room pleas
apologies for readings
if these slipped out
need for dread healing
in-justice
lost

cause ripping it in lower depths
hope damages relations end
out of hand first and last
come again
but she
oh she
is deranged like moon cycling
waxing legs
wining dregs
arranged
for in fits of sin expelled
neck belled like property
and reaped alone
among as if hordes of concubines
but at least not one love
stolen.
