The Pass

With her eyes dilate
she stares at my body
an almost hollow gaze
glazed with words she gave me

Her head on my lap
I see time's truth
she is absent and distant
gone present enflaming my love

I propose a question
like a silly child:

"will I ever see you again?"
my body conquered
and my mind solved
left to be less
and more than real
fog is thick
I try to find home

Her eyes dilate
black holes of lust
my emotions just so
result of elusive spirit food
my lust lingering
my love
never were

Her eyes dilate
cause I was never real
lying
recovering
panic on the pass

she is emptied and gone
and I forevermore
trying to find home

left alone.
